About V

There was a point in my life where I had to start over. Not dramatically — no single event, no clean narrative. Just the slow realisation that I had been building a life around other people's expectations and had very little of my own left standing.

I had a job. I had responsibilities. And I had no idea how to make the internal and external parts of my life match each other.

What pulled me through was not inspiration. It was structure. Learning to manage my money properly. Learning to understand my own emotional patterns. Learning how organisations actually work from the inside — and using that knowledge to make better decisions about my career.

I have spent 15 years in business administration and office management across different industries and organisational environments. I have seen how the back end of a business functions when it is working and when it is falling apart. I have managed the chaos that nobody puts in a job description. And I have learned, often the hard way, what it takes to keep things running without burning yourself out in the process.

This blog is where I write about all of it — honestly and without softening the parts that are uncomfortable. The workplace realities that nobody prepares you for. The money decisions that matter more than anyone talks about. The emotional work that holds it all together.

I write for women who are building something — a career, a financial foundation, a sense of self that does not depend on anyone else's approval. Women who are done with advice that sounds good but means nothing in practice.

If that is you — welcome. You are in the right place.
